Have you ever wanted to learn to play the drums? Or do you already play and want to take your drumming to a whole new level?

Paul has had over 15 years experience in teaching drums to both children and adults. He has obtained both an Advanced Diploma of Music from TAFE, and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music from Southern Cross University. Paul has also spent many years touring and performing all around the country, and has also played on multiple recordings.

As a teacher Paul has the ability to instruct and work with all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced students. He has flexibility and adaptability in his approach to teaching. Paul is able to adapt his teaching style to suit individualized learning needs and to work with children and adults from a diverse range of backgrounds. Paul has strong written and verbal communication skills and has the ability to work closely with all students, he is also patient and allows time for student understanding.

As a student there are many different things that you can go through during your lessons:

– Grooves / Rhythms / Styles

– Rudiments

– Theory / Notation

– Gig Tips and Tricks

Paul can also help prepare students with HSC music exams and/or any other performances. You can even bring along a CD, MP3 or a YouTube video, to learn your favourite songs!
